The AT803 is a miniature cardioid condenser lavalier microphone designed for discreet body-worn use in broadcast, theatre, presentation, and corporate video applications. Its small form factor allows the capsule to be concealed within clothing while maintaining sufficient sensitivity for clean vocal pickup at typical lavalier working distances. The AT803 connects via TA3F mini XLR for use with Audio-Technica's wireless bodypack transmitters and compatible wired inline preamps.

Cardioid Pattern for Noise Rejection

Unlike omnidirectional lavaliers, the AT803's cardioid polar pattern provides moderate rejection of sound arriving from behind the microphone position, reducing the level of clothing rustle, ambient background noise, and competing voices in multi-person recording environments. Miniature Body-Worn Design
