The material (real bone) and the precut slots (for the strings) are really good but the width is too narrow to the guitar neck (Fender AmPro II) I bought it for. Unfortunatelly the width is not added in the product details, but the top radius only (7.25"). The bottom radius (9.5") is OK, though. I will keep it as no other bone-made alternative. Recommended but for narrower necks only.

Perfektní upgrade, v případě Road Worn telecasteru 1. generace dokonce výměna 1:1 bez jakékoli nutné úpravy a to ani výšky strun. U Road Worn telecasteru 2. generace (Vintera) už bylo potřeba úpravit šířku, výšku i zářezy strun. Ale to se normálně očekává, že bude třeba úprava podle dané kytary. Obecně mnohem lepší kvalita, než standardní nulté pražce ze "syntetické kosti". Není to sice levný výrobek, ale za ty peníze to stojí.

A great replacement nut for a 7.25 radius Strat neck. This is my second piece of the same product and it improves the playing and sound of the guitar, IMHO. Installation is not very easy, one should file it to a perfect fit on the neck and it may be a bit time and patience consuming. Addiction to perfection will justify the time spent working on the nut but it does worth.

The second bone nut I have on my guitars, this time use on a 7.25 radius maple Fender neck. The original TUSQ nut was OK as material (cut incorrectly deep for the D string, too high action for all 6 strings) but this real bone is far more superior. The string slots are pre-cut perfectly, a bit sanding was needed on the bottom to set low action. Highly recommended!
