Now don't get me wrong, this is great. This is a great distortion pedal, it is brutal, it got two additional gain modes, a different voicing to tighten it up for even more distortion and then you can run it hot on 18V still... seriously... But the problem is, i bought it together with a Magus Pro which i gifted away. I was looking for some bluesy dirt and headroom for stacking it with fuzzes. This one is so brutal it does not need fuzzes. It is not a rat with fuzz qualities, it is a fuzz that sounds like a rat when dialed down. For my purpose the Magus Pro would actually have been better! If you do like the basic rat sound and inhaling gasoline, please buy this. Be advised: 80% of it's real shine is full blown distortion. 20% is desert overdrive.
