Overall it's a decent preamp modeller. It has 14 preset slots with 2 channels each and offers an access to a library of different amp captures. With that it can pretty much cover almost every meed. EQ is very usable here with quite a wide range. I like how easy it is to operate the pedal. Hardware and software controls and features are pretty intuitive. All of the necessary controls are on the pedal itself. Except choosing cabinet simulation. That's available in the app. You can only switch it on and off on the unit. So if the intention was to pack as many controls in as little buttons as possible, Mooer dit that pretty well. Amp models that come loaded into the pedal are decent and it isn't hard to get good sound out of them. However, mooer studio website has a library of different amp captures. At this moment (17.11.2024) there are 5379 different samples, 2677 of which are preamp models. Not all of them are necessarily good but some are amazing. The only problem here is that the website is slow. Now about the cons: - switching between channels is sometimes followed by a little gap in the sound. It's not terrible but still not nice. - during switching channels and turning the prdal on ad off footswitches act on release. So the channel switches when you remove your foot which isn't nice as well. Same with a button when it switches the preset. - it comes with a bad power supply. Mine made a noise which came from the adapter itself. My unit also adds high-frequency noise to the signal when powered by a mooer micro power power supply. I solved it by just using a different adapter. Without the issues mentioned above I would give it 5 stars. But for now it's 4.
